Case Details
Smile restoration selective myectomy of the lower lip performed by Dr. Shai Rozen in Dallas, Texas in a young patient who suffered from a skull base injury due to a fall. He initially suffered from flaccid facial paralysis that developed into synkinesis. He presented with synkinesis and a tight depressor anguli oris muscle creating a smile deformity, speech impediment, and oral decreased oral competence. 1 year after the procedure he had improved facial balance and symmetry, improved smile, and improved oral competence.
