Case Details
Smile and eyelid restoration with a free muscle transplant performed by Dr. Shai Rozen in Dallas, Texas, combined with enucleation and prosthetic eye, eyelid fat and cartilage grafting, lower lid support, to restore the smile, eye appearance, and facial symmetry. Patient presented with left facial paralysis 19 years after a parotid cancer treatment and left eye blindness. She had difficulty with smiling, appearance of the left eye, speech, and eating. 5 years after surgery, patient has an improved smile, improved left eye aesthetics, improved facial balance, and reported improved speech and eating.
